Last half term our theme was ‘The Jolly Postman’. Each week we visited a different story:

•    Goldilocks
•    Jack and the Beanstalk
•    Little Red Riding Hood
•    Cinderella

During our week on Cinderella, we did lots of different activities. We wanted to make our own spells like The Fairy Godmother. So we designed and made our own wands.

‘Salaga-doola, menchika-boola, Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo. Put them together, and what have you got? Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!’

We also held the Prince’s Ball. We watched a clip from ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ (Some of us watch this at the weekends with our Mummies!) and learnt how to dance with a partner.

We wrote each other invitations and were announced by the Master of Ceremonies when we got to the Ball, before parading around in a circle to show everyone our special outfits.

Each Prince and Princess bowed and curtsied before the dancing began. We ended the Princes Ball with a great feast!
